I saw that there was an Indian restaurant in the place I came to visit. I want to go there and try the food. Which food do you recommend? If possible, describe the food with its content.

I’m VERY picky, don’t do well with most Asian foods, East or South alike. Just not a fan of the flavors, probably something to do with spices and seasonings from that part of the world, they’re just not for me.

But if you want some good entry-level Indian food, I’d probably recommend Chicken Tikka Masala. It’s chicken in a sauce, over rice. Very basic. Maybe order it “mild” your first time, Indian food can be spicy.

My personal trinity from takeaway ordering:

- Chicken Sabzi (chicken, vegetables, onions, curry sauce)

- Chicken Punjabi (chicken, hummus, tomato-curry sauce)

I hope they use chicken. I wouldn't want to eat anything but chicken under the name chicken.

It’s in Germany, so there are no problems with the food. You get what you ordered.

You can't go wrong with a balti or a madras and a side of rice and naan. Avoid things like vindaloos and phaals if you're inexperienced with chilli's. Coconut based curries tend to be very very mild. With Indian food it's the sides that make the meal so get some onion bahjis and samosas for the table.

It depends on the Indian restaurant you're going in. Indian cuisine in itself is very diverse that all of it is hardly ever found in a single restaurant. But I'll mention some of my favourites:

Butter chicken/mutton qorma with naan.

Dosa Sambhar (it's south Indian).

Wazwan, Rishta, Goshtaba (kashmiri cuisine)

Seekh kebabs, galoti kebabs.

Malai tikka, biryani (North Indian and Deccan)
