Ice cream sandwich 43% ? They are a MESS and melt in.6 nanoseconds!!
I worked in the ice cream delivery business for bulk ice cream to supermarkets and we use dry ice to keep the product cold in the trucks. I can assure you the best way to eat one is directly from the dry ice!

Any self-respecting New Englander has to at least acknowledge the iconic “Hoodsie Cup”…

If you didn’t eat those growing up, then you just ain’t from here, haha. ALWAYS had these in the freezer during the summer.

When it came to the ice cream truck though, similar to Hoodsie Cups, I liked the Fudge or Strawberry sundae cups a lot. They came with a fat wooden popsicle stick-style spoon….

But I’d be remiss to not mention the Pink Panther ice cream bars. I hear they’ve been replaced with the likeness of SpongeBob SquarePants, which kills a piece of my soul, lmao

Maybe our Hoodsie Cups were just Dixie Cup knockoffs by our local Hood Creamery, and my entire childhood is a lie😂

My father used to take my brother and me to the Italian section of town when we were little. There used to be pushcarts that sold various things. There was one that sold the best lemon slush. My father would always get us each a slush cone.

I do like ice cream sandwiches including Chipwich, Drumsticks and Klondike bars, but also Dilly and Buster bars from DQ, and also the Hagen Daz bars rolled with nuts, but my favorite are probably from chocolate shops that dip and roll in nuts to order.

Ice cream sandwich, pealed a peace of the chocolate cookies on both sides. Ate the chocolate and then ate the vanilla ice cream. Repeat until the sandwich was gone. Kinda weird I guess but better for me. One benefit was it last longer
