Im a sucker for salmon nigiri with wasabi under the salmon & caramelised mayo ontop 🤤

Unagi (eel, not a "state of total awareness") and shrimp tempura roll are my go-to types of sushi. I'll sometimes do ebi (shrimp), amaebi (sweet shrimp, served with the fried heads), and a few others. I try to avoid squid and tuna.

I've never tried sushi. Like are there any that are fishy taste free, fishy scent free, and overall fish free? The smell of it just nauseates me. I hated when people in college would eat that at our shared desk in class

I love nigiri.

I really love Hokkigai (surf clam) and Ika (squid) nigiri. Tomago (egg) is pretty nice along with Buri (yellowtail).

After that I love a big fat Futomaki roll with the egg, pickeld radish, fish roe cucumber etc all packed in there.

From the Westernized stuff that you won't see in Japan, I do love a good tempura roll.

I'm  throwing away the sushis , they are not balanced for me. I want raw fish above all, and a bit of rice, on the side. So give the sashimis instead ! Be it salmon or tuna, Just Give Sashimis . Thanks.

I'm a fan of salmon (sake) nigiri too. I also like hamachi nigiri, or either as sashimi. Amaebi (spot prawn) is another good one. But my all time favorite is toro. I still have a bunch in my freezer from a fishing trip in July.
