Ever ghosted a restaurant or bar before that you had been a regular at?

i did this cause i felt like there was no other option at this time , i just didn't feel good about being there and could not get along with the staff after the things they did to be. or that they did with other customers when i was present.

so was like i just can't be in that place for the time being , i have no idea if they even care or not that i haven't been in for a month

apparently not the only person who " ghosted ' this bar its been like empty all night according to google liv, why doesn't owner just send the poor servers home by this point , a brewery that does a trivia night on Tuesday was busy but seems no one came here after

it was apparently very slow both Friday and Saturday nights although we had bad weather here too. but normally start of holiday party season so does seem place is a mess and customer base has disappeared. almost like it needs an intervention of something. i still haven't been back in , though about it Friday but didn't go in

i went back in once last week and this week , doesn't appear i missed much , not busy other than for a brief period on Friday night but then everyone seemed to leave to go somewhere else?
a couple of the servers i knew don't even seem to work there anymore , this blonde girl seems to have left in Oct around same time i took a break and not there anymore. a new girl i had never seen before was there instead and said she started in Oct which is odd as this place never hires in the fall winter

The new owner told me that he was going to turn it into a more upscale place and will be serving gourmet meals. He said he wanted to attract a better clientele. It was a nice place to eat and had a nice bar upstairs. I do not know who this guy thought he was talking to but I was one of those customers that he thought were not good enough for his fancy new place. It was the last time I ever went in there.

perhaps something similar has been gradually happening here when the manager changed a couple years ago. the new one doesn't seem focused on the same things or what made business successful in years past.

she just posted a bunch of new specials to instagram despite fact this bars instagram page is not even that active and mostly ignored its the only way or place she is advertising them.

the food specials they've come up with are significant discounts but only on certain weekdays and no real reason for people to go there on a Monday , she doesn't even promote sports as a reason to go in. and has been less and less live music on weekends

i'm not really sure what she envisions the bar being , if people are not suppose to go there to watch sports or for live music on weekends. there seems to be no reason for people to go there which is perhaps why its been empty so many nights lately and currently empty now too but its Monday at 930 pm so wouldn't really expect anyone to be there

think there was a dis connect at this place between the owner and manager/servers. think the owner pictured a place where people would hang out after work and have a beer and watch the game later.

the manager and servers who are all women seem to picture something different , perhaps more of a trendy hot spot vibe except were a small town and isn't really many young single women here as we don't even have a college

so they'd alienated people like myself who just want to have a beer after work and aren't really looking for something trendy

i can't even believe he's kept this manager this long , she seems to do little which does much of anything and seems oddly obsessed with posting pictures of food posts to instagram yet never posts any pictures of actual people at the bar having fun.

i haven't been in the place since mid October and honestly not sure when i will even go back in

i still haven't been back into this place and really not sure when i will , usually go in during the holidays but not sure i will this year. according to google liv its actually really busy tonight oddly first night in a long time its been and shows a huge red bar

but tonight was also the santa clause parade downtown so they must of got people coming in after to warm up as its really cold and snowy out today , big snow storm here i didn't even bother to leave the house roads are a mess and highway terrible

i doubt it will be busy once they leave unless they get people coming there after staff Christmas parties maybe? is no students back yet either

did go in a nearby sports bar yesterday and server said it had been really quiet downtown lately and she was only server working when i went in around 3 pm cause her place didn't feel it warranted extra staff rate now

Yes some places I felt like I didn't match the vibe of the customers - aka I don't drink, so why would I go to the bar lol 😆

that place was always a tough scene , local crowd and a lot of the same people , some of who i didn't really connect or get along with , so i was always sort of by myself at the bar , i talked to a lot of the staff and felt that i got along with them but they didn't seem to want a real friendship with me if i tired to add any of them on social media they'd just ignore the request despite fact we knew each other and got along

Even some eateries feel like "it's only dining for 2 plus" lol 😆 there's a movie like that dinner for one lol 😆

i never really had dinner there just drinks later at night or sometimes during the day when it was summer

it was more of a summer hot spot but used to be busier in the fall and winter than it is now , no one seems to go there anymore so i might not even be missing much of anything by not going in

a new place up the road has been doing karaoke nights on Friday , is also a smaller bar in a nearby town people have been going to although i never really been in it
