If you're not a vegetarian, have you ever tried some vegetarian food?
Did you like it or not?

I eat vegetarian meals 3-4 times a week because they're much cheaper. Use to have crispy tofu wraps but tofu has been pretty shit at supermarkets recently so have stopped doing that. I've tried tempeh in one of those meal delivery boxes, it was okay. Usually now it'll just be salads, vege fried rice, vegetarian curries, vegetarian nachos, pasta etc
Yep! I have had tofu before. Don’t mind it at all. Have a vegetarian extended family member we accommodate at family gatherings. So, had to try it. XD
You're welcome
As a culinary explorer, I've tasted a myriad of vegetarian dishes and enjoyed the journey immensely. One memorable experience was in India, where I tried a vibrant vegetable biryani. The spices were a symphony on the palate, perfectly enhancing the vegetables. Closer to my heart is the classic Italian dish, eggplant parmigiana, where layers of tender eggplant mingle with rich tomato sauce and melted cheese. These flavors show that vegetarian cuisine can truly be satisfying and full of depth. 🍆🌿

Even cats eat catnip to get stone but they energy from other beings to survive, so do I.
Some vegetarian dishes are excellent. 👍
It's no so much that I have tried vegetarian food as much as I deliberately make choices of food that would be acceptable to a vegetarian.
For instance, this is the type of pizza I will order:
This pizza, which I often ordered for "Meatless Monday", has two toppings: onions and roasted red peppers. For me, I make pizza a vegetarian meal and don't add any meat-related toppings.
Same with my pasta sauces. Unless my wife is eating with me and she has made her own sauce, I use store-bought spicy meatless pasta sauces such as Fra Diavolo or Arrabbiata or, sometimes, just a good marinara.
I also learned that I love grilled vegetables and salads without meat.
So, as you see, these are all vegetarian choices regarding commonly eaten foods.
It can be a good alternative. My sister is vegetarian so I've had it plenty.
Remember how mom and dad would say "eat your vegetables so you grow up big and strong"?
@Circushowcowboy didn't get that memo.
@Circushowcowboy and didn't I say I don't want my feet any colder than they are? It is 17º out!
@Circushowcowboy all i'm saying is if you would have had them Brussels sprouts, you may have sprouted yourself.
@Circushowcowboy didn't eat your spinach, did you?
Oh here we go 😅
He did not. This is a clip circa last year of him still trying to water himself to grow.

@Circushowcowboy how did that work for you?
I don’t want to talk about it lols
@Circushowcowboy you just need to listen to Aunt Abby from now on. Mkay?
At your altitude I doubt that. 😝
I don’t eat “vegetarian” meals per-say but my diet does already contains a healthy amount of vegetables , having minimum 2 - 3 portions of vegetables per day. I have made vegetarian meals for guests and tried them before serving them.
I'm allergic to soy so I can't eat a lot of it. I have had some avocado/artichoke garlic pasta bowl which was really goos but the local source dried up.
I eat far less meat these days..
My daughter is a Dietician and also Vegan ,
I have tried all that stuff and quite like it.
I usually do not like to try anything that I do not know what it is. There is a restaurant that I go to that has stir fried vegatables and I eat those every time I go there.
Of course. I consume vegetarian food half the time. My favourite vegetarian dishes are Dosa Sambhar, Shahi Paneer, Kadhai Paneer, Dal Baati.
Used to date a vegan. Even went vegan for him.
Honestly he smelled funny and so did i. I had no energy and he had lower testosterone
I get it, it's not unusual for a vegan.
I’ve had vegan food, vegetarian food, like most non-meat salads qualify for that. It’s food, same as the stuff with meat in it.
I have lived and worked with vegetarians and have never had any real problems eating the same meals that they had, though I’ve never gotten on with Tempeh, Tofu, or Seitan, especially when they've been used to produce faux meat items.
I don't eat fake meat.
But lots of actually tastey things are vegetarian.
French fries for example, or a salad, or a peanut butter sandwich for example.
I eat vegetarian food often, along with my omnivore diet.
of course. nothing wrong with food that is inherently vegetarian or vegan. i hate vegan or vegetarian food pretending to be meat tho.
I've tried tofu and tempeh- you can keep them. Pasta and tomato sauce is largely vegetarian- I like that.
Absolutely! I pretty much always get vegetarian dishes in Mexican restaurants.
Tofu is really tasty, I love to try vege dishes, except foods that try to be like meat, like fake bacon or sausages,
I have a good friend who is vegan, so when we hang out we tend to eat not just vegetarian but vegan.
Vegan restaurants can be 🔥 Tofu is very versatile too
I just like food.
A restaurant style Chipotle black bean burger was amazing.
A pizza with just vegetables or a salad is about as vegetarian as I get
I only eat meat and veggies so I'm sure I'd like most veggies dishes.
There's always a little salad on top of my cheese burger with bacon & egg.
I enjoy vegetarian chili is good now and then.
I used to love tofu, but then I discovered that I am allergic to soy.
I tried a few of those veggie burgers. Didn't care for them.
