Hmmm…. cards on the table, I’m not a huge pie guy, mostly for the crust, but also because the fillings are too…I don’t know…syrupy? I’m not sure that’s the right word. Like it’s too sticky and sweet for me.
If I do like pie filling, it’d be more the style of the coconut or chocolate creme type, where it’s more like a mousse. Either one of those is good. I’m a sucker for both coconut and chocolate.

any except the coconut or almond. Plum would require some fancy dancing on the flavor profile for me, likely with some lemon in there too.
(Those are more of a neutrally-based cream pie with the titular ingredient added as a flavoring, and not the whole basis for the filling as a fruit pie.)
Many of of our homemade pies I make are a combo of fruits, sometimes just to clean out the fridge- apple/cherry, apple/berry, multi-berry, etc.
