How many of you make egg salad sandwiches and what do you mix with the eggs? Also, do you use the whole egg or just the yolk?

I had one today for the first time in probably 10 years! My dad used to make them with chopped dill pickles, celery, a slice of cheese and topped off with lettuce. He would use a mixture of Miracle Whip and real mayo and sometimes yellow mustard but he stopped doing that, because he was the only one that liked it. I forgot how good they are!

I grew up eating egg salad sandwiches! It was always the entire egg, with miracle whip and dill pickles. It's funny, when I was growing up, egg salad sandwiches was considered "poor man's" food, now it's like $20 for a dozen eggs! It's less expensive to buy a couple Porterhouse 🥩

it depends on the mood tbh... but lately, I do a bit modified version

whole boiled eggs, finely chopped parsley, finely chopped onion, fried in butter, one or two raw eggs, salt and pepper
fry all together on a bit of butter
put to the bowl
enjoy in your sandwich or on your plate, however you like it... cold or warm :D

There’s a lot of nutrients you get out of the yolk.. why let the whole thing go to waste. Chopped up celery and white onion leave a nice crunchy texture and flavor with egg and tuna salads though

I know a few people that don't use the egg whites. They think it's "gross", I have no idea why.

I make them on occasion , but I am not that fancy with them , I use the whole hard boiled eggs and some mayo with salt and pepper and mix it up , sometimes I will throw a slice of cheese on them and a little bit of hot sauce to spice it up

Usually just chopped hard boiled whole eggs with real mayonnaise. Sometimes add celery.

It's funny, because Miracle Whip on sandwiches sucks lol it has to be real mayo but all salads I make have to have Miracle Whip! Egg, potato, macaroni...

I keep it simple with just eggs and dukes mayo. Maybe a squirt of Dijon. Salt and pepper.

I use the whole egg and I use dill salad cubes mayo and a little mustard then season to taste. Now when I make my sandwich I lut lettuce and tomatoes on it

I forgot about tuna fish! We would put eggs in them also. One hard boiled egg for every two cans of tuna lol Never liked it as a kid but will get a sandwich from subway on occasion now. I guess it actually grew on me.
