Is it normal to gain 2.2 pounds from 2 days worth of restaurant food?

I always order salad as my appetizer when I go to red lobster but the last time I went, my dad told me he wanted me to pay back my vacation debt faster by spending less money than usual, so I ordered potatoes and rice instead of salad because the potatoes and rice are free with your main dish purchase while the salad comes at an extra charge on top of your main dish purchase. I ate the food over 2 days, spanning 4 meals.

While because I ordered potatoes and rice instead of salad as my side dish, I ended up gaining 2.2 pounds from Red Lobster and after 7 days, I have only lost 0.4 of those 2.2 pounds, meaning I've gained 1.8 pounds from eating red lobster. I am surprised because I never take so long to lose weight. Usually I will gain 2 pounds from a barbecue and within 3 days, the 2 pounds have gone back down to 0 pounds of weight gain.
