On a scale of 1- 10 how crazy is it for a bar to claim it cannot get twisted tea anymore ?

this bar i go to is claiming they cannot get twisted tea anymore , appears they used to buy it in glass bottles but glass bottles not available due to import issue but all cans are still available here.

like why not just buy it in cans? would any bar serious choose to go without one of the most popular drinks cause glass bottles not available but all cans were? i've never heard of anything so crazy , its beyond even basic comprehension

its like the owner doesn't even care anymore , drove by today at 2pm in afternoon , a really nice day here but outdoor patio was not even open as umbrellas were closed and no one on it. its like place is his private hangout and he doesn't even care if customers are pleased or not apparently none on his drinking buddies like twisted tea enough for him to care

It’s possible there is a shortage however the stores by me have twisted tea in cans & as for glass bottles you would have to go to a wine & spirits or liquor store for glass bottles.

i know but was perfect bar for twisted tea , a summer patio bar , when hot out was exactly what i was craving and 1 bottle take a long time to drink as i'd secretly add a little water to it so it last longer

isn't a shortage , issue is the glass bottles are imported from US > Canada ( where i live ) but cans are made here. is an issue getting some US imports , the liquor stores here stopped carrying some US brands like jack daniels hasn't been available for months

but seems crazy bar would not just buy the cans instead for time being until bottles come back
