Either they pack it at the table or I'll have a partial credit by not leaving a tip. It's quite simple. If my food is taken back to the kitchen I'm not eating it. I might give it to my dog, but if it's going in a box it can pack at the table.

One exception - if the server asks if I'd like them to take it and put it in a takeaway container. If I've asked that's different. If they offer, that's better service.
