Do you think it's frustrating how restaurants will not let you view their menu until they open?

I always plan my meals at least 2-4 hours ahead of schedule if not 12 - 48 hours ahead of schedule and it is frustrating when they do not let you view their menu ahead of time because I like to assess their prices and portion sizes before I decide where to eat.

It's like trying to graph a parabola when critical data is missing from your list.

On Amazon prime day, I got a $50 gift card to a local restaurant for $40 so I bought it and then I realized there are further discounts for group orders so I plan on buying a group order for me and my family, and it might be enough for 2 meals.

A lot of restaurants where I live have the menu on display outside or in the window. In addition a lot of restaurant’s have websites where you can view the menu as well. If the restaurant is open I usually walk in & ask to see a menu if it isn’t on display. There were a few times I sat down at a table & nothing appealed to me so I told the wait staff nothing on the menu caught my attention & I left.
