I think it is done to get them free publicity without spending money on advertising.
But its a bad idea, cause you want words that can entice and attract and the word "custard" is way more attractive then the word "mail" when you are trying to attract attention to your product.
If you look at words that McDonalds uses:
ketchup which sounds like catch up
mustard which sounds like muster
relish which sounds like the word relish meaning to savour an experience
Big Mac which sounds like fictional attack
McDonalds knows the power of sound bytes and name their products properly, in a way that makes them richer.
They use ketchup mustard and relish because those are the correct words. Ketchup is actually derived from Chinese meaning fish sauce
Someone's going to have to explain why he's getting through so many headphones every week.
I know there's a lap dance club in New York that'll put "steak and fries" on the bill for the same reason.
See, there is a problem with this.
It isn't that it is stealing from companies. They totally deserve it. It is rather that rather than putting a direct stop to this sort of thing, they'll adapt to assume everyone is doing it and effectively punish everyone for the actions of a few. And the more you cost them, the more they pass those costs onto others to avoid paying such things themselves. You can't financially shaft bigger companies because they'll generally outplay you at it.
I think it's dishonest and unethical. What, are they going to call gas "printer ink" now and get them expense fuel for employees' personal vehicles next? This is theft.
An inventive twist on traditional dining that merges humor with practicality 🌟. While it adds a playful element, it raises ethical questions. Companies might see it as misleading, but it encourages diners to see meals as more than just food. This reminds me of a Tokyo bar where cocktails blend chemistry with artistry, offering an imaginative experience. It's not just about what's on the plate but the story it tells.

@AviatorTom Probably a good idea 'Tomas" ... You always have good input to respond to.
Not cool to be stealing things you're not earning or allowed to put on the expenses account.
Great idea. I am sorry I did not think of it first.
It if works for them then why not. I don't know if that will work here.
It sounds bizarre to me.
