Mushroom collecting time just started. It's a dangerous hobby because some deadly poisonous mushrooms like Deathcap can be easily confused with edible ones. Japanese people have Fugu we Europeans have wild Champignons.
Which mushrooms do you like to eat? Is this custom in your society to collect mushrooms?

Stuffed portobellos are really good.
Other than that, I'm not familiar with a very wide variety of mushrooms.

Morels are rare in forest where I'm living. With a truffle dog it's easier to find black truffle worth 100 bucks than a morel

I used to have an obsession with mushroom, especially ones like common morels. They remind me of tripe (I work with tripe so when I see it I always think of this mushroom)
Any verity of trumpet mushrooms are sick (I love flowers like this too)

Afraid of death? Generally German forests are the same as ours and there is a rule, Mushrooms with sponge on underside are safe only mushrooms with gills can be deadly. Of course this isn't valid for other world regions, it's always necessary to learn which mushrooms are edible and which are not.
Ironically young death caps look exactly like young champignons with exception death caps have gray gills while young champignons have bright brown gills.

The only food poisoning I ever got was because of spoiled Asian mushrooms. I definitely prefer not to repeat that experience.

Psilocybe cubensis grow maybe in Florida. However we have Fly animata that contains even more psilocybin but mixed with muscarin that needs to be removed. I know how but I won't tell.
