Fellow cooks of G@G, where do you usually find new recipes if you're looking to expand your menu?
Do you get random ideas? Do you get inspiration from a restaurant you frequent? A family recipe? Google? Experimentation?

i used to get the Food 52 newsletter because it had amazing original recipes, then the recipes dwindled and they started heavily pushing very expensive but not high quality kitchen gadgets, so they'd tell you to make a Caesar salad but you had buy a $400 bowl and $325 tongs and $600 bowls to serve it in and on and on, and they were all junk you could get on Amazon for $35. you couldn't look at a recipe without getting a pile of these recommendations. it got so annoying i stopped it
now i get Epicurious and Bon Appétit which have really good recipes
dwindle is one of only 3 words that begin with dw, not counting the name Dwight
I normally find them on Youtube. However, I sometimes use a little of something from different recipes, depending on what I like most. I like to cook.
There's several websites out there that can assist you in finding some fantastic dishes. One of is woman. Nether's Southern living. If You ad create your own recipes. Depends what You what. The best that were grandmother and Great Grandmother.
sometimes I hear about something that sounds interesting. I look online to see if it would be possible for me to make it. A YouTube video is even better.
