What’s your opinion on matcha being the latest trend now? Do you like the taste of matcha?

I love matcha in year 2015 when I was in Kyoto, Japan. Fans of matcha whom love them way before the hype are upset matcha get sold out way too easily. For me I’m not upset because I’ve the patience to wait.

In my country matcha has become a thing, cafes and even restaurants incorporate them into desserts like matcha ice cream, brownies, pancakes, macarons, matcha latte, matcha cookies, etc.

It's a trend now? Interesting. I used to drink it every morning, but this is like over a decade ago and I lived in Japan. I drank Matcha milk mostly... milk and matcha went well together and really gave me an energy boost.

It's alright. It's not worth the hype though but I get that it's a trend. Dubai chocolate is also overrated.

It’s not meant to taste sweet. I would say it’s bitter and has that grassy taste.

Latest trend? I've been on matcha for many years now. It's been my thing for like 15 years. If I go to cafes (which is once in a blue moon), the only drink I ever get is a matcha latte

I've had it and it honestly just tastes like grass. Earthy and vegetal a little bitter with a very light sweetness.

Not really all that different from some Asian teas.
