Do you like hard raw sausage?

Question

I was peeling back the skin of a large firm meaty sausage and thought, hey there's a gag question here."  Do you like the type of hard raw sausages in the photo? What type is your favourite?

Raw sausages aren't really raw. They are salt cured and dried, sometimes often cold smoked.
I like German Mettwurst or Polish Metka on fresh bun with dill pickle and freshly chopped onion. Maybe it's not a combo for distributing kisses after but it tastes good.
Salami or "Pepperoni" is a raw sausage either just longer dried until it gets white Penicillium mold like on bree cheese sorts.

This kind of sausage is the best human invention right after the invention of cheese and/or beer.

I could not possibly tell which specific type I prefer - all I can say is that if it's not hidden well, it will not survive long in my house :)

@purplepoppy Obviously whenever I've had a sausage, once it's outside the plastic from the supermarket and it's cooked, it's usually long and thin 😋🌭 and i do mean, no metaphors - I don't own a BBQ, but we use a grill plate
