Maxwell House coffee has been around for 138 years.

To better serve coffee drinkers in 2025 who live in apartments, not houses, it has rebranded itself as Maxwell Apartment.

Would you try it?

It's for a limited time only, though, in honor of International Coffee Day on 29 September 2025.

I live in an apartment and yes, I would try it. My grandma drank that coffee ☕️ for many years!
I just saw a video about the crap that's in certain coffee brands and I drink Folgers coffee classic blend and have bought it since 1980. It's the only coffee I like.
But the video claims that my particular coffee has some added chemicals in it that are known to cause cancer. I still drink it every morning. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My mom used to buy Maxwell house coffee when I was growing up. She finally switched to folgers because it was less bitter.

Maxwell house and Maxwell apartment would both taste the same, bitter. The didn't change the beans, just the name

If you listen to the really old radio shows, mostly sponsored by Kraft, Kraft himself will come out and talk sometimes.

In Canada, Maxwell is often a cheaper brand than other brands but I prefer the taste of other brands because they have a stronger aroma and a more robust organic taste. Maxwell coffee tastes a little too stale, bitter, and simple in flavour.

Yes if the government can get you to sell your house. And move it to a big apartment complex they can keep every one together easier to control that way

I like small roasters and am happy to support them. That's why I prefer to buy from small local businesses, where I can also buy directly from the roastery shop. Big brands have enough money.

I do not drink coffee but I think this is clever. For people that coffee gives them the runs they could call it Maxwell Outhouse coffee.
