Do you always use the same coffee or tea cup/mug?

Some people have a favorite coffee or tea cup/mug that they use almost all the time. Others, like me, have several that we use.

I have about six (6) coffee mugs that I use throughout the week. I have one cup of coffeee each day, for breakfast, and after I finish drinking it, it goes into the dish washer. Since we only run the dishwasher a few times a week, until it gets full, I use a different coffee mug each day, from my collection of six (6).

How about you?

I don't like coffee cups or mugs. There is too much chance of them sloshing or spilling.

I make 24 oz of coffee in a French press every morning and pour it into two 12 oz insulated car cups with sippy lids.

I rinse out the cups every morning and wash them with soap and water every couple of days with a sponge thing on a handle.

I have about 50 coffee cups between home and office and they all get used occasionally. Some of them are souvenirs of places my wife and I have visited and some of them relate to my college and law school alma mater.

For tea and coffee i just grab the first cup since most in the cupboard are the same bar the picture. But for hot chocolate or malty drinks I like my thick sided deep one because it keeps holds a lot and keeps it warm.

Always wash your coffee cup or tea cup because roaches can get in it and the next thing you know you’re drinking roach stains and droppings. Always wash every time before making coffee or tea you might think it’s clean, but you never know don’t risk it and I know that you have roaches 🪳 in England

True story. A government official visited a welsh farm on business. The wife offered him a cup of tea to which he accepted. She then unhooked a cup from a window rack and knocked out the dead flies and without washing poured the tea in. Obviously the poor sod had to drink it less he offended.

We typically fill our dishwasher over the course of a few days, so we have enough coffee mugs to get my wife and I through 5 days of morning coffee. Usually we don't use them all before the dishwasher runs, but if we've ate out instead of cooking it might take longer before we need to run the dishwasher, and sometimes we'll have tea later in the day. So... we have 10 mugs.

I have a cup hanging in the bathroom where there is a gallon or so electric pot full of tea all winter. I use that cup if I wake up and want some tea while I watch dvds of old TV shows.

Whatever is clean. Coffee cup, Pyrex measuring cup, mason jar, small bowl, canteen, etc. I don't really care. Whatever works.

We have an eight piece set of coffee/tea cups, so, it will be one of those. Every so often when a lot have been used, I rotate them to spread the wear.

No I don’t like American coffee once in a while, I like an ice cold Frappuccino from Starbucks or McDonald’s whatever is closer and depending on my mood for how much time do I have to sit in or take out
