How do you eat sunflower seeds?

That's if you eat them of course, do you suck on them before cracking into them or crack into them instantly and spit them out or suck on them after cracking them? Lol

There is NO sucking whatsoever when eating sunflower 🌻 seeds! Don't do that.

I was probably Queen of eating the most sunflower seeds for many many years - almost every day.

Buy the biggest ones that you can find. I grew up eating the brand David & Son's, now it's just called David. But last time I brought a bag from the store of David and they we too small to eat. They weren't dry enough either. I threw them away. So find some that look dry kind salty looking and plump

I like to sit down and eat them. I put something on my lap to put the used shells in.

Take one out of the bag, bring it up to your front teeth and crack it.

Then take your thumb nail to open it up.

Then take it back to your mouth and get the seed out with the first part of your mouth.

Rinse and repeat. Kidding! Don't rinse them.

Warning! ⚠️ Sunflower seeds can be very addicting, but it gives you something to do with your hands, and if you're kinda a nervous type of person, it helps keep you busy and you'll enjoy the hand to mouth part of it as well. Can soith anxiety/anxious times.

I crack them sideways with my teeth, like I turn the seed so the thin edge is between my teeth and then pop it open. 😁

I rather think I have a talent at eating sunflower seeds.
I throw a handful in my mouth, and one at a time move them into position, crack one, chew on the kernel, swallow just that kernel and then move another into place to repeat the process. I do this when driving. Helps keep me awake on long trips.

First I pop a few in my mouth, shell and all. Let the salt and seasoning hit my tongue for a moment, then I use my teeth to crack one shell sideways, slide out the kernel with my tongue, eat it, and spit out the shell.

Repeat, almost meditatively. Perfect for games or long chats 🧡🌻

I was told that drinking water with them will get you high. I tried it once and at least got very sleepy.
