What's your favourite frozen dessert?

I love kulfi the most, it is like ice cream but very nutty and has a beautiful thick gritty texture.

I am not a fan of popsicle, I don't like icy stuff.

I give 6/10 to sorbet, I prefer it tangy or zesty and having teeth sensitive to cold makes it less enjoyable for me personally. But I understand why one would love it.

I have never tried gelato but I'm sure I'll love it because the texture seems similar to kulfi, especially pistachio or pecan flavoured.

Chocolate malts made with vanilla ice cream and lots of chocolate syrup and malt powder. I love it when they serve it in a soda fountain glass and also bring you the canister they mixed in with what wouldn't fit into the glass.

I also like sundays with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge or with chocolate ice cream and caramel topping.

Always topped with whipped cream and a Maraschino cherry. No nuts.

As a kid it used to be a sort of frozen lemon stuffed with... Some sorbet probably? I should really try to find some again, to see if that part of childhood has been preserved

These days, pear sorbet gets my vote alongside rum raisin ice cream. But I avoid buying them regularly, else I'm going to devour it much too quickly.

My favorite frozen dessert is pistachio gelato, without hesitation 🍨

It has that dense, creamy texture you love in kulfi, but feels silkier and a bit lighter on the tongue. In Rome, I once tried a pistachio gelato made with roasted Sicilian pistachios and a hint of sea salt, and it reminded me so much of kulfi’s nutty depth.

Kulfi after a spicy biryani and pistachio gelato after a rich pasta both feel like perfect endings to me 😋

• Plain old vanilla bean ice cream. It pairs up with almost anything.
• A close second is sorbet and sherbet. Nice and light fruit flavor in the summer. There's a reason it's used as a palette cleanser between meal courses.

I don't consider Popsicles to be a desert, more of a treat to eat any time you want one. If I do, they'd hopefully be root beer or banana. I also love Dreamsicles but, I haven't been able to find any since the early `70's!!
