Not routinely, but i’m told that i have. I was at a Thanksgiving dinner with extended family where squab was prepared and served. It was delicious and when i asked what it was, i was informed that it’s pigeon. I would eat it again, but i have not since.

Always better to eat birds at home, last bird I ate on the table in the middle of a restaurant I nearly got arrested. Charges were dropped after I agreed to wash the dishes for a month

Some people do eat pigeons, especially specific breeds raised for meat, often called squab. 🕊️
In many European and Middle Eastern cuisines, squab is considered a delicacy, tender and rich, a bit like very soft dark chicken.

I once had roasted squab in a tiny restaurant in Rome; crisp skin, rosy meat, with rosemary and garlic. Delicious, but definitely not the same as city street pigeons.

Squab is pigeon and it’s considered a delicacy in some cuisines. Look to Asian cultures, and France.

I will never touch it. It’s unethical just like eating a snake would be to me. i’m sure it’s horrible. I don’t care what they make to disguise it. What sauces
