Is $4 shipping insurance and extra packaging worth it for yearly tea orders?

If you buy insurance for less than $2.00 per gift box when you order the tea, the company agrees to give you a free replacement if you tea box is lost or damaged in the mail, and if you pay less than $2.00 on top of that, they will give you specialty wrapping paper for your tea box to lower the risk of transportation and shipping damage when they deliver your tea.

And though, that might not seem like a grand sum, $4.00 is a lot of money if you buy the tea every year.

I spent over 30 minutes registering my name on an app, for the sole purpose of buying this box of tea, and now it is out of stock on the app and I am assuming it will stay out of stock.

I did after 20 minutes, find an online website where I can still buy it, but unless you pay for insurance and specialty boxes, they do not guarantee you will get the tea if it gets damaged or stolen or lost in the mail.
