How do you feel when sandwiches aren't sliced correctly?

Like most British women I always use a set square to slice sandwiches properly and retain angle integrity. However a growing number are going freestyle just to be awkward.

So how do you feel when presented with poorly cut sandwiches like in the photo?

As a sandwich-obsessed cook, bad cutting genuinely bothers me a bit 😄

Diagonal, clean cuts feel satisfying, neat, and somehow make every bite better. When I see uneven, clumsy slices, it reminds me of rushed café lunches where presentation is an afterthought. I’ll still eat it, of course, but I quietly mourn the lost geometry and that first perfect corner bite. 🥪✂️

I have a similar problem with the sandwich bar in my works building. The sandwiches are great, plenty of fillings. But I don't want them to be cut because the fillings fall out and make mess.

So I give my precise order avocado both sides (its the glue that keeps it all together), the fillings in the correct order. Finished with "and don't cut".

Invariably I have to yell DON'T CUT as they reach for the knife. Why can't women manage simply instructions on how to cut or not cut a sandwich to a man's satisfaction?

Is this some misandric resentment of their job being to prepare and serve food for men?

I'm sure your set square cut sandwiches are close to works of art and that is the way I like them with less fillings.

I have a rule. You can ask me to do something or you can ask me how to do it and then do it yourself. You don’t get to ask me to do something AND criticize how i do it.
I am very diligent about avoiding hypocrisy. So i would just laugh if i discovered such a strangely chopped sammich. I might call home and check to be sure she didn’t have a stroke, but i definitely wouldn’t criticize or b*tch.
If you make a sandwich for me, i am having an exceptionally bad day if i express anything other than gratitude.

To be fair, the belt may not be because of the sammiches... but that's another story.
Maybe this eccentric shape cutting has potential... You could spread each individual shape with a different flavor of jam or jelly. Kind of like a stained glass window of geometric shapes? Might get a girl in trouble for the very likely sticky fingers that are the result though...
