The rice slowly cooked in good stock, white wine, and Parmesan feels luxurious without being heavy. The scallops get a quick hard sear in butter so they stay sweet and tender. I’d finish with lemon zest and chives. Elegant, aromatic, and perfect with a chilled glass of white wine. 🍋🍷

Ribs. It is a religion where I live. It is almost like if you can't do them right, you should move out of state. Haha.
It really isn't even that hard to cook. There are a few ways to do it, depending on what you have to cook with. Key is a good sauce, which you can get anywhere here. So, there is no excuse for bad ribs.

It would depend on the season, on my budget, and on the level of time and effort I want to put into our meal.
if it was somebody I was newly dating or I was busy or trying to save money, I would cook normal sesame oil ramen noodles with sugar and salt but no spice, with boiled battered eggs and tomato and salt. It is very simple, but tastes incredible.
If I had more time and money on my hands and wanted a better meal, I would make cabbage soup. The ingredients are cheap but the labour required to make the soup is intense. It takes me around 2 hours or more.
If I had money but no energy or time, I would buy raw fish and make my own sashimi plate using wasabi and soy sauce.

I guess as the dishlady I'd have to say they're all ok. I actually love making fancy arrangements and stuff for dinner parties. Since it's summer, it would be a lot of fresh fruit and possibly my poached salmon with peach glaze.
