I can't sit and drink beers for hours like some guys. It's far from my favorite thing to drink. But with some foods, beer just goes really well. Pizza, chili, a burger.
What I've been throwing into the rotation on every night out for a few years now is a Connecticut based non alcoholic beer named Athletic. They have about 20 different types. I drink one of their IPA's and it tastes fine. 45 calories instead of 160 and 0.5% alcohol instead of 5% for an average beer so 90% less alcohol.

I only drink it from small breweries never the mass produced global shit like Bud or Fosters because when you make something for mass appeal it loses character and becomes a pale shadow of what its supposed to be.

  I do have Pepsi, water, milk, OJ, other juice, and sometimes Grape Juice 🍇 (it's like the purest wine to me, lol no alcohol not even removed) lol 😆

Beer and bread are essential elements of life. Making beer seems to have predated making bread and it probably was the impetus for the agricultural revolution.
There pictures on ancient Sumerians sharing a 3 to 4 ft jar of beer and sipping it through straws. They look very cool and happy.
