Depends on the beer. I can drink an unlimited number of PBRs as long as i’m awake and not power drinking. If i’m power drinking, i’m full long before i’m drunk.
I typically look for fruit forward ales in the 6%-9% range. I’ve been surprised to be drunk after a single quart of ale that rings in at 9%, but polished off nine pints of beer that come in around 6% without realizing it.
