I have to say my cast iron skillet is one of my favorite kitchen utensils, I take care of it all the time to make sure it’s ready for the next meal. I also love my Air Fryer , reheating food in the air fryer is awesome 😊 How about you do you have a favorite appliance or utensil that you like using?

My trusty carbon steel pan is my absolute favorite 🥘
It heats fast like stainless, seasons like cast iron, and is perfect for everything from searing steak to delicate omelets.

I’m also very attached to my Japanese nakiri knife. Chopping vegetables with it feels almost meditative, like being back in a tiny Tokyo kitchen watching a chef turn daikon into perfect ribbons 🥬✨

Our Breville Air Fryer Toaster Oven. We use it several times a day -- to toast bagels in the morning, reheat lunch, then to cook dinner. We never use the range oven anymore.

I've started getting into stainless steel cookware. It's a big learning curve but the results are great.

I bought two new sets of cookware. One is non-stick and white inside. The other set is stainless steel. The Internet said that it's safe.

Please let me ask you, does your food stick to them? Or do you have to spray them first with non-stick cooking spray?

@sage2021 so what you have to do with stainless steel is heat it on the low end of medium for a 'while'. after a few minutes, drop a tiny bit of water in the pan. If the water sizzles and evaporates it's not hot enough. If the water dances like beads of mercury, then it's hot enough. dry the pan and add about a tbsp or two of oil.

The MOST important thing is understanding that YES food will stick until it's ready to be turned. Then it won't stick. So resist the urge to mess with it until the food moves easily on its own.
