A lot of people think with their heart, go with their mind or just follow their gut feeling. I find it to be important to have a balance between listening to your feelings and your logical reasoning.

Why it's completely okay to think with your heart.

A lot of people go with their mind, and follow logical reason. That's great, it is. But sometimes that causing other problems. Like stopping you from doing something that would make you happy, take you to follow your greatest ambitions and doing what you want.

Following your heart can be the best thing you've ever done. It can provide you with new experiences you never would have had before. Your heart is the most passionate part of you. Your passion is beautiful and if you think with only your head than you may over think. Overthinking is a large problem, especially for those with anxiety/depresion or any mental illness. Overthinking has caused many problems that can be avoided. Following your heart provides better situations for you.

Yes there are pros and cons to following each of the three from above but you should keep a healthy balance between at least 2 of the 3.

Why it's completely okay to think with your heart

Your heart is a beautiful piece of you and following your heart, especially for love, can be a lot better than thinking with logical reasons rather than your feelings. It is okay to follow your heart, but it's dangerous to those more sensitive whom wear their hearts on their sleeves.

Why it's completely okay to think with your heart

Finding a balance between anything is never an easy task but the easy things aren't worth it and the things that're worth it are never easy.

If you follow your heart, you may end up heartbroken, in love, in a new country, trying new things or even just finding different life styles completely.

Why it's completely okay to think with your heart

Logical thinking, is all about protecting yourself, and being on guard most of the time. For example: "If I do this, then this will happen but if I do this then this will happen." It usually takes away an oppurtunity that may have changed your lifestyle. Let's say a woman is in love with a man, she feels and knows in her heart that he is her soulmate. But she's married-with children. Her logical reasoning would be "If I leave then they'll have a broken home. If I stay, then I will be miserable and lying to my husband about the love he thought he had." If she follows her heart then she will be with a man whom she loves, making herself happier and maybe even providing a better home/enviroment for her children.

Why it's completely okay to think with your heart

All in all, following your heart is important, just as following your mind is. The best thing to do would find a balance between the two and you will be happy. <3
