I am fairly introverted, there is a lot I feel I have to hide. Like my songwriting, though I expose it to some people when the songs are complete.

But I do find it difficult to be around people a lot, depends on who they are, even if they do something I dislike, but doesn't exactly affect me, I may still dislike them.

People who are very social scare me though lol, though I could probably use their aid in getting to know some people. But then again, after work there are very few people I care to see

I like the one by Stephen Hawking and then one by Aldous Huxley. I can't compare my mind to someone else's, as I have never been in someone else's mind. But I am INTP which, according to Carl Jung, means I am always thinking

I was very outgoing as a young child, but. Life beat me down but good.

I like to describe myself as an outgoing introvert. I've no problem speaking my mind in a group, and I really do enjoy people on an individual level, but. Things get more difficult the more unfamiliar people there are around and navigating group conversations.

I dunno. I'm always wanting to do things versus just hang out. Nobody seems able to keep up. Most extroverts I know idea of a good time is getting together and watching TV.

Yet another instance of someone putting unnecessary labels on people. Personally I can attribute my feelings to both introvertness and shyness. There are times when I could easily do something with other people but choose not to. Not because of shyness but because I just didn't want to bother and preferred to instead be alone by myself.
But there are other times when I'm just shy. So you can be a shy person who's introverted or an introvert who's shy.

Everything is so true, especially - "I’m indecisive because I see eight sides to everything." - over-thinking/analysing is painful.

Anyway, extroverts seem to like me (or maybe they're just curious seeing an aloof human being) more than introverts. All of my friends (except one introvert) are extroverts. Can anyone else relate to that?

Common mis-understanding is the very essence of an introvert. A lot of people think introverts are always shy and all that jazz.

Well, to each their own, there's not an introvertic (is that a word?) bone in my body. I do find it difficult to converse with them. They're baking, keeping things inside :/

When you think about it, extroverts see introverts as something of a threat to their being, extroverts are energized (suck energy?) in social interaction, introverts are drained from social interaction.

I think this is the core subconscious reason behind all anti-introvert 'hate' and prejudice.

Good Take. I'll add that sometimes introverts become very good at fooling everyone into thinking that they are extroverts.
