I tried my best to post lies from an objective point of view.
1. I'm a virgin
I believe this statement needs no further explanation.
2. This my first time_____: Fill in the blank
Or maybe the phrase is a variation of this like. "I have never done this before." "I have never had a one night stand." "I'm new to this." This can tie in to number 1. If her voice gets hired and if she bats her eyelashes, she is most likely lying.
3. Looks do not matter to me
Looks matter to me. But some women will say that looks do not matter to them so they don't look shallow, or some other reason that does not make sense. Perhaps they feel they have to settle, or a self righteous reason.
4. Nothing is wrong
Yes there is something wrong and if you don't ask us/them, they will say things and nag.
5. "I have a boyfriend"
I will just take a guess and say that women lie and say this because they do not feel like dealing with the hassle of turning a man down. If they do not want to hurt their feelings. Some women are afraid of just saying they are not interested.
6. "This is my real hair."
7. "You really matter to me."
Or they say something like, "you mean the world to me." Some women that say that are spouting bullshit. They are only doing it for show.
1. I'm a virgin I AM a virgin at 22 by choice. Now because of the majority I won't be believed. -_-
2. This my first time_____: Fill in the blank Ehh.. Virgin remember? Might play naive about something random on a date if the guy is adamant about showing me something and showing how much he knows.
3. Looks do not matter to me Looks always matter. But I say this, not because I am lying, but because I have extremely high standards for IQ, that if I were to discriminate all but the genuinely ugly men, I'd never get a date. Looks take a far back seat for me.
4. Nothing is wrong I'm prone to say this rarely. I trained myself to just come out with it. It nurtures my relationships with loved ones.
5. "I have a boyfriend" Oh yeah. I'm a coward. It's my replacement for "not interested".
6. "This is my real hair." I always is my real hair.
7. "You really matter to me." Never said this without meaning it. Said it only once.
I don't talk about it, but then again I also don't get asked out. However, 1 and 2 (for the most part) are true for me. Given my age, if I ever do actually admit it, they might not believe me because it's rare that it happens at my age. So I am just hoping it never comes up. I've never had to say anything when it comes to 5 and 7 since I've never been asked out. People would know automatically I am lying with number 6 since I have highlights. I am very guilty of number 4, but that doesn't apply to guys. That applies to everyone. I don't like talking about it though, so I don't 'nag' I just close up when something is bothering me. Usually other people nag me to tell them what is wrong. With 3, I do notice attractive and unattractive guys but I am ugly, so I am in no position to turn someone down for that reason. It would be hypocritical of me to do that.
I thought about it and I'll confess. My most common lies in life are as follows: "Yeah, Mom. I'll be home at midnight." "I only had like two beers." "Thanks for cooking, Babe. Tastes great!" "That's really interesting!" "I'm just going to read a few more pages."
I hate when they pull the I have a ________________, when they don't. I am one of those guys that you say you are not interested and I never bother you again. I go out of my way to avoid you. Saying the other thing does the same thing for me but I am sick and tired of never being given the chance to have a girlfriend.
Nice post and everything is trut but I doubt this one "7. "You really matter to me."" why should they lie about this? I mean nobody forces them to say this at all. It is true that the say I have a boyfriend and other things so to avoid discussions or let the guy feel very bad but with 7 they just don't have to say anything instead of lying.
This is my real hair LOL. Guys are more accepting of the I have a boyfriend vs. the reality of we'd rather be celibate and cry ourselves to sleep than spend one minute in their company.
the virgin lie is silly. it will most probably show during the deed if she is or isn't. as for mindgames and manipulation tactics you haven't even scrtched the surface. but it is as you said. SOME women.
Yea and violence is insane in some countries! :( Here if you turn a guy away because you aren't interested it's very likely that you'll be mysteriously mugged and raped later in the evening
Im speaking in general. I take public transportation and i have had guys still bug me even after i turned them down nicely, so i lied to them and said i have a boyfriend and they backed off immediately. I also have dealt with stalkers unfortunately
South Africa, men are very entitled here because it's largely Christian and the Bible is very strictly followed. So a girl can't just say no thank you.
@KittyImpala67 Yep. South Africa- the country where a survey found that 60% of both boys and girls (between the ages of 10 and 19) think it isn't violent to force sex upon someone you knew, and where around 11% of boys and 4% of girls admit to having forced someone else to have sex with them. A quarter of all the boys interviewed also said they considered 'jackrolling', aka gang rape, to be a fun recreational activity. And more than half the interviewees, both male and female, insisted that, when a girl says no to sex, she really means yes. So yeah, girls can't really just say no there. But here, in the UK? It's at least an order of magnitude less likely.
@SinghSong Yea it's a fucked up country, that survey was done on millennials though, you won't find a large portion of my generation having those opinions. :(
It'll make him look like he has a permanent hard on... nah. And I think you mean stuffed bras, those are deceitful, push up bras just make boobs look great.
@chigurl33 push-up bra makes them look bigger, they are even advertised at making your breasts look bigger. @ikissedtheskyonce no not always. Only when they draw attention to themselves. Like in the case of a push-up bra making your cleavage spill out over the top.
They would only look at a big t-shirt if your boobs were really big. Or you're drawing attention to yourself some other way. Everyone knows women crave attention.
I actually am a Virgin, so when people make takes ot comments about women lying about that stuff it does bother me because im afraid guys will think im actually lying to them.
I also like when they bring up completely unrelated things to justify something else, like "I'm not a slut. I waited 'til I was 18!" What in the hell does waiting 'til your 18 have to do with it?
@frozenhorizon I love gifts. Really I do. I just don't like the guilt it gives me. With my brothers constantly complaining how self entitled girls are, it just feels like I'm taking advantage of the guy. And the fact that most guys wouldn't accept regular gifts from a girl is BS and doesn't help my case at all. Some girls are trying to change things, you guys should at least help us along.
