I think that people just need to learn not to wear clothes that are not meant for their body type. This goes for more than just overweight people but its the biggest with that group. I think a lot of it comes from the ridiculous stuff recently saying it is okay to be obese and healthy.
i honestly dont think it fair of you to say that. personally, ill tell you a story of two grils i knew. the first suffered from an eating disorder for years. even though she fit the beauty standard of being thin, that didn't make her healthy, that makes her sick. her friend, she weighed more then the first, but she happily flaunted her stomach. she ate clean, and also exercised regularly, but she still had rolls. more often then not, its genetics. the difference between the two women was that the first was dying everyday, looking healthy, but consuming barely 300 calories a day. the second was bright and happy. maybe she tipped 140, but she was healthy. the first wouldn't weigh 115 soaking wet, she looked like your typical beauty, but every night, she would force herself to throw her dinner up. weight is not always a indicator of someones health, and society needs to stop judging other just because someone doesn't fit the standard.
@eva_day12345 I said its more than just overweight people. Whether that means too skinny or fat or tall or short. If the first girl had an eating disorder then she was not at the right weight and health for her body. I don't support this. I think that anyone weather they are too skinny or too fat should get help and be healthy. Being slightly overweight is more healthy than being underweight but that doesn't mean that the girl you are talking about who was "chubby" is as healthy as she could be. People shouldn't settle for okay regarding things that they can change themselves like weight or hygiene. But I also am not a fan of using weight as a measurement of how healthy someone is.
At the end of the day, none of this matters on what my original point was. I said that being obese is not healthy, I didn't mean a little chubby. My other point was people should wear clothes that fit their body type the best and accept it.
I completely understand your point. However. That is life. & it's the aspect of self freedom to be who, and wear whatever you want. We try to live in a non discriminatory world. Where 1 piece of clothing/resturant/car brand/ town is open to ANYONE, any income, any color and any body size. & that is considered Main stream I guess. We just gotta open our eyes and accept it
Wow, really, the f**k are we living in? Got damn right they should if it's there choice and I don't give a shit what any of you disagreeing has to say. Close your mf'ing eyes and mind your own got damn business. The audacity of some of you entitled feeling mf's.
Stop saying "I'm sorry." There's nothing to be sorry about for having brain cells.
Except whoops, apparently "This incident is similar to women wanting to be part of the Boy Scouts," you don't. My mistake. These two things are in no way related. At all. Anyway, no, gross fatties shouldn't be wearing bikinis. If they want to, they're allowed to, obviously, just like anyone with eyes is allowed to be grossed out. Lose weight and then come back.
@guywithissues900 it would glorify obesity if someone said they look great in it, but simply wearing a bikini while being fat isn't glorifying anything, just like if I killed myself I wouldn't be glorifying suicide, but if someone said I was really brave and an inspiration then that guy would be glorifying suicide
Do enough exercise and it's easy. We had a 45 year old in my martial arts class throwing people half his age and 50% plus his weight. Granted he also does Judo, but we all need to be brown belt level in Judo to graduate.
Why though, if you want to make a gatekeeper statement please make sure you actually fit the standard yourself first. What do you know about that person in the first place? She could have just given birth to quadruplets and it's her first time at the beach in months. Plus do you not think that a woman is VERY aware of her size. It takes guts to even wear swimsuits, let alone be criticized by people like you and by the way the model you see now, will not be the same either in 20 years, does that mean she should also stop wearing swimsuits later on in life because she no longer has the body she used to?
I gotta laugh as a "plus size" woman who does 10 hour shifts landscaping 3 days a week - and by that I don't mean just mowing the grass, sodding's not a job for weaklings - for a friend's company cause he can't find any lazy assholes who'll get off covid-government assistance & make a decent wage I look good in a bikini. I'm fit. Powerful. I can throw a little faggot boy like the writer over my shoulder & toss him into the water.
y'all do what you want. I'm not at the beach to look at shit. It's just a bonus if I do. I'm there for the purposes of R&R and meditation. fact of the matter is skin exposure with sun block on is very healthy, good for the cells and your bones. Let it all hang out if you want, dont if you dont want to. aren't fat people beaten down enough on a daily basis?
Doesn't apply to men? Are you sure about this? How about overweight guys wearing nothing but a pair of speedos? Go to a crowded beach and they are absolutely everywhere, certainly not pleasing on the eye, however if they feel good that's their perogative, exactly the same as overweight women in bikinis, you're not forced to look at them.
Of course they should! And to claim otherwise is hateful and bigoted, this is not a matter that is up for discussion, it is a matter of treating everyone equally without discrimination on the basis of appearance.
Yes, because if someone doesn't like it, they are free to look away. They might be obese because of illness, and they deserve to feel the sun on them also, get a tan properly and not like a redneck, feel comfortable and not judged by complete strangers who got nothing better to do. And the second girl is heavily photoshopped by the way.
Yes, why not? They should wear whatever they choose. If one gets disgusted by that then simply look away.
"Meanwhile, the first one only wants to be like the second woman, acting like a bikini will change her entire appearance." Thats bullshit, for the first girl to go out in public means that she's secure with her body. "Bikinis are not meant for plus-sized women. I'm sorry." If that were true then they wouldn't have sizes for them... GuyWithIssues...
They shouldn't. Because they are wearing clothes fit for other body types. It's just their way of saying "I want to be skinny but I can't, so I'll force the world to agree with me"
Some guys like myself maynot be into stick figures in bikinis and like a bit more flesh to look at and fills it out better. I think a plus sized girl in a bikini is sexy and they should feel sexy in their skin, they should feel confident to show off their body without being body shamed.
Women should be able to wear what ever they want at the beach or pool. It's usually hot and it s okay to be in bikinis. Us men have our fat ass hairy floppy guys sticking out. Can some of it be hard to look at, maybe but we all need to be adults and respect it for what it is. Comfort. I salute overweight people for being confident enough to wear those. I think it's more weird when they leave shirts on and go swimming. Fuck that and fuck what others think.
First off bikinis are not for showing off the body, it's for hiding the extreme nude bits and and so women can walk around on the beach and get a tan like guys do with their top off and just wearing shorts.
What difference does it make lol i feel its stupid to reduce weight to fit into an under wear lol, be skinny or fat just wear something to cover genitals and not to show off the under wear brand not matter whichever brand still it would be sti he'd with threads itself lol 😂

"shouldn't be wearing bikinis." why?
@G5TWA1 It's unhealthy, it's unattractive and glorifies obesity
@guywithissues900 it would glorify obesity if someone said they look great in it, but simply wearing a bikini while being fat isn't glorifying anything, just like if I killed myself I wouldn't be glorifying suicide, but if someone said I was really brave and an inspiration then that guy would be glorifying suicide
haha i'd like to see you forty years down the road still looking like a fit 20 yr old, w/o a belly or dad bod

I couldn't imagine being so self absorbed that I care what someone who is not paying my bills is wearing.
Let her be chonki and sexy in her way. Let us be sexy in our way.

#2 truly is lovely.
The first should
spare us the agony and just do this.
okok but like... fat men dont wear shirts at the beach
Obese people shouldn't wear too revealing clothing, but many do. I tend to look away if I see one.
why shouldn't they?
why shouldn't they? its their body and their choice. u dont get a say in what people "should" and "shouldn't" wear
They shouldn't. Because they are wearing clothes fit for other body types. It's just their way of saying "I want to be skinny but I can't, so I'll force the world to agree with me"
@xxxxxxxlllllllxxxxxx Actually, I do get a say, but I cannot force them to or not to do something.
wdym? how could u possibly think that u get a say in what they wear?
@xxxxxxxlllllllxxxxxx To have a say means having an opinion which is my right and your right as well.
