Mainly true.
However most guys who complain about the friend zone are not just walking entitled jerks, in fact, they are naive. I've never known a guy who has slept with several women then complain he'd been friendzoned. It's virgins, every damn time. They have NEVER had a girl want to have sex with them, so they have no benchmark for what a subtle 'yes' looks like. They are usually upset, not because they think they are owed a yes because they're nice, but because they got lead on, perhaps accidentally, because they thought they were -getting- yes signs.
So I might say friendzone is attacking women, unfairly in most cases, for saying no when they had been hinting (from his perspective) yes.
Still, whatever. It won't stop unless we teach nice boys to move on fast unless she puts out, something that right now only young jerks do. I don't see that happening. People don't want to teach boys how to get laid in a mature way, so they figure it out on their own, making mistakes along the way hurting others (if they tend to being jerks) or mainly themselves (if they tend to being nice). And the latter group are always going to be hurt when it happens.
thank you, i recognize the amount of thought that went into that! and i agre with you. i find it sad that there seems to be no possible solution for now. I suppose right now, all we can do is just hurt each other:(
For my generation hookups are pretty common... But if he's seriously a virgin, then yes, someone needs to show them how to have FWBs instead of 'friends'!
@HeartsBloodDupre whether they're showing them how to get friends with benefits , or girlfriends with whom they have a good mutual sexual relationship, either works.
But most boys get the following advice, probably in this order:
- from older female relatives: be nice, girls like a nice boy, some girl will be so lucky to have you
- vaguely from society: if a boy loves a girl, he will always wait, sex doesn't matter
- vaguely from society: men are pigs, women can't find nice men
- vaguely from society: any guy not getting laid is a loser
- from anti-rape organizations: always ask beforehand, do not approach girls who are drinking, just be yourself and never do anything that could be considered pressure.
- from online pua: break women's self esteem further then use that to get them to put out.
From absolutely nobody: how to be confident, comfortable and open about their sexual desires, friendly and flirtatious, able to read reactions, a focus on finding girls who want them rather than convincing girls.
We're damned either way, aren't we?
hahaha pretty much

Sorry, but your "final answer" is a joke, literally and figuratively. Friendzoning exists, and can happen to girls too, the issue is that 99% attempts to approach someone come from guys. Friendzoning is not saying no, friendzoning is taking advantage of the person you said no to, knowing you are their weakness.
This is like the feminism debate, pop-feminists (at least the ones under 30yo) always play a dishonest argument trying to make up their opponents opinion into denying equal rights to women.
And I agree about slut shaming, it is stupid, I mean, there are certain reasons (even evolutionary ones) to not mate with promiscuous people, but slut shaming is something completely made up -perhaps remotely based on the real thing- by society, specially religion, and it is often done even to non-promiscuous women.
Ehh... when people are "friend zoned", they often allow themselves to be used because they think putting so much effort into trying to make that person happier will actually make them like you. People don't just intentionally use you for your money then tell you that "oh I thought you didn't want anything from me because obviously I'm socially retarded" while they just wanted free dates. I'm pretty sure it happens, but I seriously hope it's not as common as you make it seem.
No. Slut is a PERSON (not just a girl) that haves sex for money, or just to brag about it.
Any man or any woman can be friendzoned.
Why do you have to make this all about women. The terms weren't created just for women, stop acting like a victim when you're not.
No, "slut" is a derogative term for "promiscuous", aka someone who is willing to have sex without much pre-established relation with people in general.
This post is about male entitlement.
Well, in my opinion, slut is someone that has sex for money or just to brag about it. Someone that has sex because they like it, just for fun, is not a slut. That's how I view it.
The tumblr post is pretty spot on I would say.
I think friendzoning happens so much because some guys don't give clear signs to the people they're interested in, then don't respect the other person's right to say no.
hahahahaa good point!
if she is a slut then she is a slut don't manipulate it... and dude if you've beeb friendzoned you ain't getting out. you are fooling urself
First off no. Calling someone a "slut" has nothing to do with her rights. It has to do with her choice to sleep around. She may have the right to do so but if she does she will have to accept the consequence that at least some people will look down on her.
"Friend-zone" is iffy. Some guys do that but for the most part younger girls don't seem to know what's good for them, at least based on my experience. So the guy is just trying to open her eyes. Eventually though he may get tired of waiting and she might be too late.
The "bitch" thing is largely not true either. It's partly true because some guys do that but for the most part guys call a girl a "bitch" because she's acting like a female dog in heat (disrespectful, crazy and/or promiscuous).
here's the TRUTH!!! men slut shame women cause they can't get any from her but know every guy she's been with and men and women friendzone each other cause of attractiveness when a man or woman isn't attractive or is fat then they get put in the FZ and the only way out of the FZ is when he/she goes to the gym and puts on muscle and gets ripped abs then all of a sudden she's always liked you just never had a chance to date you but she's free now or holy cow she lost 40 pounds and got an ass then BAM he notices her of course most of the time these people (men and women) turn into superficial douchebags and become assholes
Well, if that's the case than I say we do get rid of gender roles and let women start doing all the goddamn hard work instead of just having things handed to them and then abusing men's hearts by "up-grading" and other shit. This website has only made me hate women because now I can see what you're all really like.
But... i thought you didn't agree with @Mesonfielde?
Oh! I forgot to add, I love this MyTake SO MUCH. I wish I'd written one like this :p
Haha. "Hate women", eh? Disapprove of roles when they don't suit you, but choosing to stick with stereotypes just so you can blame everyone else... No wonder you disagreed with me on gender neutrality, and eradicating stereotypes - but you're only supporting your own agenda of blaming others :P I'll never be able to take terms like "women" seriously as some kind of collective entity where everyone is the same.
@HeartsBloodDupre mentioned because you mentioned me, after all.
You two are so funny. @Mesonfielde too, I love reading this. Y'all should be friends.
That honestly does not excuse you from anything you said here XD
That's like the drunken people saying, "oh I was drunk, I didn't mean it" sure you did, in fact, you only didn't mean that you didn't mean it :D
Oh well. Maybe when you realize stereotypes are meaningless, you'll stop generalizing like that.
lol ok
Slut: girl who fucks a lot of guys, maybe fucks them right away/fwb whatever people use it regard to.
^ Not exactly my opinion but seems to be the general one.
Friend zone: generally not even dating a guy you've known for a while, yet potentially hopping into bed with random sleezebags...
This is almost accurate, the friend zone part is on point though
And how do you account for women slut shaming other women, virgin shaming men, about women's complaints when men don't want relationships with them? How do you account for a woman being a bitch to another woman?
Let me guess: internalized misogyny. It's still the fault of men. Uh huh, sure. I know you're trolling, but that kind of corrupted thinking actually happens among a disappointing number of women.
Anyway, go grab an empty beer bottle to shove up your cunt since you won't be able to find an actual man willing to Fuck you.
I don't see anyone denying that women are assholes to other women about their choices or that women don't virgin shame men. Saying that men do one thing doesn't mean that women are free of blame. Let's stop attacking the straw man here.
But anyway, why wouldn't a man fuck her? Last I checked men don't ask "what are your views on feminism?" before sex, and even so, they don't turn down pussy because of it.
lol, thank you @been_waiting ! XD
Final answer? LMAO...
Attacking guys for "slut shaming" and "bitch shaming" is just attacking us for our right to say no to sluts and bitches. You can whine about that all you want but it won't change how we feel about certain female behaviors. What it WILL do is make us see you like a whiny victim (in addition to being a slut), which does more to hurt than help your cause.
Guys do not respect sluts and we can't stand bitches. Never have and never will. Deal with it.
Be careful of naming anything "The Final Answer/Solution"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Solution
friend zoning is assuming men are ok with your being a slut.
Slut is Homeland Security agirls
Feminism is defending Bill Clinton,
"feminism is defending bill clinton" omg thats great! XD rotf
Guys dont want sluts... Let her be upfront about her history so guys can avoid her except the players which are the male sluts. Girls dont want players or guys who use prostitutes and guys dont want a used up slut, its gross.
I would primarily agree, but @kheserthorpe is right.
OMG I love love love how short and to the point this is!
¯\(°_o)/¯ How sweet...
You spoke my mind.
