Is slut shaming wrong?

A hookup before birth control and abortion... would have been deadly to a family or tribe. The girl's family would have to take care of some random guy's kid while he invested nothing. It makes sense why slutty behavior has traditionally been looked down upon, but what's the point of shaming slutty behavior nowadays since we have readily accessible birth control, abortions and even child support systems?

Me being slut shamed basically turned my life around. My lifestyle that I was living a while ago stopped guys from wanting to date me and that was a wake up call to the reality’s of the lifestyle I was living. I think in some cases, being slut shamed can be wrong, but then like some people just need a different perspective in life.

Shaming for anything other than harming others is wrong. Being a slut is the opposite of harming others, as the defining characteristic is it actually makes others feel quite good.


And no, abortion isn't harming others. In the same way refusing to donate your organs to help someone else survive isn't harming others: it's merely refusing to help. Everyone is allowed to get away with refusing to help except pregnant women for some reason.

That only works when you're completely independent. Most people aren't or either they'd own their own succesful businesses and have everything they ever wanted, without debt. That's not most people.
