Perfection is a myth and Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Why I don't think women should worry about looking 'perfect'

Anonymous

I've been on GaG a while now and, like most posters here I'm sure, I've noticed common themes in the questions being asked. One of those is the "Do guys like X girls?" and "do guys like girls with Y?" etc. Some examples of these are body features like thigh gaps, breast sizes or exact measurements. Things like virginity or hair colour, height to religion.

I thought I'd address all of these questions in one take; partly becasue I'm trying to clear up my own thoughts on the matter and partly cos I'm bored right now. :P

Breast Sizes

This is an interesting one. It's basically the female equivalent of "is my penis too small?" It normally comes from girls in their late teens and early twenties who worry that their size will turn off some guys. Looking at the 2014 Maxim Top 100, In #2 spot, there's Scarlet Johansen and at #1, Candice Swanepoel.

Looking at the above pictures, the Hottest Woman in the world looks rather 'small'. It doesn't stop the brains of millions of men from turning to pudding everytime time they see her. Personally, I've never thought Johansen was that hot. I can see why other guys would be attracted to her but she isn't my type. Personally, breasts aren't the most attractive body parts of women. Legs, face and hair I all find to be more appealling but that's just me.

Height

Scarlet Johansen is 5" 3. Maria Sharapova is 6" 2.

Both of these women are at pretty extreme ends of the scale. Is either ugly? How many guys would reject either of them? I have no preference for either tbh but both are worshipped by millions of men.

Thigh Gaps

and on the other hand...

Basically, it doesn't matter. How many times have you heard a guy say "Oh, Megan Fox is so hot; look at how her thighs touch" or don't touch? I don't even know if her thighs touch and I've seen a lot of pictures of her.

Race

Plenty of guys drool over Asian women, white women and black women so don't worry. I've seen questions here from women complaining that white women have an advantage, I've heard other guys say they adore Asian women and some that had no interest in them at all (like me) and I've seen more than enough guys look at attractive black women and look like they've just seen the face of God to believe that race is not a serious issue in finding a partner.

"Experience"

Some guys seem to prefer virgin women. Personally, I prefer to be with a woman with *ahem* experience as do many other guys.

Dominant/Submissive

Most guys seem to be dominant and most girls seem to be submissive so that levels out. Fewer girls seem to be dominant but fewer guys are submissive so those fewer girl have less compettion for the submissive guys. Again, it's all good either way.

Age

Kate Upton is 22. Kate Beckingsale is 41. I'd chew my own leg off to be with either off them and you would too. Seriosuly, how many guys would go "Nah, too old" if Kate Beckingsale threw herself at him?

Hair Colour

This varies. I used to prefer blondes now I seem to crush on mostly brunettes. The length or style of their hair doesn't really make a difference.

Religion

As long as the guy isn't an extremist in his chosen beliefs (i.e. an asshole) and you're not going to try and convert him to save him from damnation or tell him the faith he's devoted his life (and afterliffe) to is a fairy tale, I don't see a problem. Personally, I've never given the religion of a girl a moments thought when decidng if I find her attractive.

As you can tell from all of these subjects, there are many "types" of women and there is no one ideal for more than a few guys. Many of the women I have mentioned are worshipped by millions of guys and some I don't think are attractive at all. There are models I wouldn't look twice at and fellow classmates I would propose to if I thought they'd say yes. Not matter what you look like, whether you think you're the most beautiful women since Helen of Troy's younger, hotter sister or the least attractive potential girlfriend in history, whether you're old or young, tall or short, in my personal opinion, there are millions of guys who won't look twice at you and millions whose hearts would skip a beat (in a good way) and brains would stop if they saw you. You are not perfect because you're human and frankly, you never will be (perfect that is; you're stuck with the human part though). You will never be attractive to every guy out there and that's fine because every guy out there won't be attractive to you either.

You just need to find one person out there who is attracted to you and who is attractive to you and all those other people won't matter. There is an infinite variety of tastes and preferences out there so no matter what you think of yourself, I'm sure you're someones ideal.
