me too find this friendzone term confusing.. just bcz she was nice to me that doesn't mean i owe her anything... in my case it would be "nice girls" and assholes is replaced by hot or slutty... if you want to be nice with someone do it without complaining, that time you want something back for your "nicely" things... you are not nice anymore! ... plus everyone has a right to choose.

The friendzone does not exist because if a girl puts a guy in the friendzone he isn't really a friend. She would never have his back like a real friend would but will expect him to be there for her when her relationship falls apart. Thats not necessarily true. Theyre not just gonna fall inlove with you cause you're nice. They just don't like you obviously. Not saying it towards you but to all the guys that need to shutup and grow some ovaries and get over the fact that their crush doesn't like them back. Its just them making excuses

I think when a girl friendzones a guy she only sees him as a "friend" and nothing more nothing less. She ain't attractive to him or sees chemistry between him and her. I've been friend zone before and it happens and I don't think nothing of it. I really don't see myself as boyfriend material anyway but wish the best for the girl none the less.
I don't friend zone. If they asked. I'd go on s date. If they are considered friends. I like them enough for that.

1) Attractive does NOT automatically mean hot. It could simply mean cute.
2) Many women want an attractive nice guy. What's not hard to get? Again, if you need to understand what attractive is, go to number 1.

Yeah, Many women do want an attractive nice guy, I never denied that, I simply said, It dosent matter how nice you are if you aren't attractive, You need a combination of the two, BUT, You can get by on Attractiveness alone, Sure, You probably won't have long commited relationships, But, You will still get with lots of partners, However, If you are simply nice and not attractive, you're fucked, Noone wants that, Its human nature.
My point was, If you are ugly, You are fucked. You may aswell just give up with any hope of Social acceptence / relationships before you even start. Ugly people, Are fucked in life. Simples.

Hmm. I don't quite agree. I know very few women seeking jerks than most of the jerks pretending to be nice. They have the look that attracts many women and pretend to be nice.

i don't "friend zone them" I dont even understand that. I don't sleep with girls I don't like, and I have dated heaps. if it doesn't work I leave, or they do. We don't talk but are on good terms. Basically how it works, then move on..
Nice guys and veggies and fruits. Bad boys are unhealthy, delicious desserts. One can become the best medicine for you, the other poison.
If a girl isn't into the moving fast into relationships you could mistake it for friendzoning and then if she's not interested in you. You have to be up front about what you want if you're serious about her.
I tend to start out as friend with a guy and see where is goes I don't think of him with potential and then 'friend zone'.
