I've known this girl for a while and we had history of attraction, dating, chemistry, sleeping together, late night calls etc. basically like a couple (funny thing is we weren't actually or officially a couple lol)
But recently we went into an argument with each other. Even though we argued a several times before and always forgave one another, this one seems quite bad i guess. she won't speak to me as frequently as before, or not even speak to me at all. according to her she's just busy nowadays, and not mad at me when i asked her. but i sense its something more than that.
I stopped contacting her before for around 1month. But when i initiated contact again, she either does not respond or give simple answers. like not her chatty self that i loved her for :(
my female mutual friends advised me to not initiate contact with her for while (no contact) with possible reasons being:
- she's genuinely busy
- she's not ready for a serious relationship right now
- she needs space to focus on her new career as she works long hours everyday.
tbh i just think she's lost interest in me. as i feel like I've been quite pushy lately about our relationship.
i've decided not to contact her anymore until she intiates. tho i'm afraid she wouldnt.
would this help in cooling down any tensions? i figured this is like a 'breakup' lol except we weren't actually a couple. or is there a better way?
