I Think I came on too strong and a girl I went on a couple dates with went cold on me, we have known each other for over 10 years and had a fling about 9 years ago. We are both single again at the same time so we were texting as I have done with her over the years, how it going blabla, we have run into each other at social things but rarely. So both of us being single this time I asked her to dinner, we ended up having lunch and then dinner about a week later, I’ve been trying to set something up with her and at first she seemed really excited but when I try and make it an actual plan it hasn’t happened, now she’s gone cold and answering me slowly, we had a lot of fun both times we meet up, I think I freaked her out by sending too many texts and seeming desperate, I don’t know what to do, the tone and her communication has changed, just looking for some advice on what to do.

I don't know these days... what use to be good things are considered bad now. I’d ask her flat out if something has changed because it’s evident you two aren’t communicating like you were. Respect her response even if it’s no response.

Ya just leave her alone. If I want a guy , I talk, I text, I meet up, I make it happen. If I don’t want him, I get quiet.
Back off and let things cool off, I doubt this will go anywhere, but it definitely won't if you pressure her too much.
» Stop reaching out.
» You are too aggressive.
» Give her time.
» Try again later.

Maybe it has nothing to do with you. she could be hurting from her ex, or something else?
