Okay, it seems from reading some posts here that there is a general consensus that girls tend to be shy, avoidant, and nervous around guys they are really into. If that is the case, how do you differentiate between a girl avoiding interaction with a guy because she feels intimidated by him compared to a girl who doesn't want to interact with the guy because she has absolutely no interest in him? The behavioral results seem to be the same even the causes are both totally opposite. How is the guy supposed to know which is which? Both girls and guys welcome to respond.
It depends on how does the girl react when you try to approach her. If she has no interest, she'll act like you're just a normal friend or coworker. But if she feels intimidated, she'll show it. If she's around her friends often, you should look at how her friends react when you try to approach her. :)

If she's avoiding due to attraction you will see little signs of her affection. Shy eye contact, blushing, giggling. I'd she's avoiding due to no interest she will be indifferent and not look at you at all
