Maybe I was a shy guy. Maybe the hottest girl of my class had a crush on me and never did the first step. Maybe it was the ugliest one who did. Maybe dating her help me overcome my shyness.
Shyness is a normal step in human development, I would even say that it's more natural to be shy at first. In the end, it's all about when and with who you will be comfortable enough to overcome your shyness.

I'm all for giving a shy guy a chance but hell, after a while it becomes tiring and you get fed up. One can only be pushed so much. If after a while he's still not showing signs or doing anything then I will leave. I can't say I have ever regretted it. One can only do so much.
Yes! I regretted not pursuing a shy guy, I was waiting for him to do it but it never happened and eventually we just lost contact. If you like him and you think he likes you too but he's not doing anything about it... you try!
