because they don't know how to properly apply makeup. You pluck eyebrows to give them a general shape and then fill in the spots with a pen the same color as you hair. Well you sort of just answered your own question. You think it looks natural and like most people, not just guys, they don't understand what the "natural look" is. It actually makes it look a lot better actually. It's the little things that make the overall appearance incredible.

The other thing I forgot to mention, is that when we put on foundation and powder, it makes our eyebrows look really weird. In order to compensate, the brow pencil helps add a little bit more color.

yeah, but back to what you said about her eyebrows, you thought they were natural. You prefer a natural look. The better you get with a natural look the less time it takes to put on. I've gotten it down to under 7 minutes.

This is proof that when men say they want "the natural look" they don't really know what natural is. Scarlett is beautiful, but she is wearing a ton of make up and has stylists to correctly pluck and color her eyebrows. So girls will try to replicate it, and some end up do looking natural, but others end up looking like the picture that the Asker posted.

I used to have thick brows, so I had them shaped, but it was uneven. So I went to another place and the lady ruined them - made them super thin. I was really fucked off with how thin she made them. And the sucky bit is that eye brows don't seem to grow back, at least not all of them - just the really ugly patchy parts.

This is one my bggest pet peeves. Most people dont realize but eyebrows are the most important facial feature, they can enhance symmetry and proportion or completely destroy it. Poorly done eyebrows are the worst.
