It's certainly possible, of course! It happens, and is certainly more common than current statistics will say.

Violence against men by women is one of the most under-reported categories out there.

In one sense, people might say "He feels humiliated for being abused by someone weak", but I don't necessarily find that the case. More so, it's the idea that "women don't commit violence" that has people seeking justification for the woman's actions.

To put it simply, "Men hit women because men are jerks. Women hit men because they probably were jerks and deserved it."

I think that's part of where victim-blaming of female victims comes from, it's basically standard practice to blame men for most or all of their misfortunes, apply the golden rule and there you go.

Another thing to consider is how hard it is to be "forced to penetrate" compared to "forceably penetrated".

To be fair, rape is still mostly a women's issue. I don't think it should be treated as unique to women, of course! I've just been curious about the dynamic amongst and towards men that would make us more likely aggressors, and I'm pretty sure the dynamic I decribed above contributes heavily.

You know what ISN'T mostly a women's issue? Domestic violence. It's nearly (though not quite) 50/50. If a slight majority being women constitutes a "women's unique issue", then what about 90% of all homeless being male? Of those homeless, 80% in shelters are women. Pointing, yet again, to the idea that we treat a man's misfortunes as his own failures, and a woman's misfortunes as society's failures.

Luckily, people are cluing in to the idea. I'm starting to see more feminists include these ideas in their narratives, and I'm seeing similar themes pop up in shows as well. Not to mention the domestic violence against men PSAs. So hopefully we head in that more-inclusive direction.

But yes, women can certainly be rapists, and we shouldn't hesitate to acknowledge that.

I'll say it. I'm a victim myself. It feels dirty, wrong and traumatic. But according to United states law, it's not rape, women cannot be rapists and female-on-male sexual assault is not included in statistics on rape. In fact, some psychologists suggest that the prevalence of victims of incidents like this could be a high as one in seven males. Since the law states that in order for one to be considered a rapist, the perpetrator has to forcefully penetrance a victim against the victim's will. What it is referred to in this context is known as 'made-to-penetrate (which also sounds a little less daunting to a jury).' Thanks. I've move forward, but it's not something I'll ever forget. I still have nightmares on occasion. The worst part is that she could be doing this to someone else right now with no accountability whatsoever. Every experience is a chance to learn. Unfortunately, this isn't one experience I'm proud to have been through. Hopefully, the sexual victimization of males will be acknowledged and both sexes will be held accountable for rape. But for now, the best we can do is just live- and I'm quite proud of myself in that regard.

the problem here is again that quantity nature I said. men are more accepting also less protective (not in teenage years and between minors) towards women sexually. usually they want to have more mating than women (they do not want sex, mating is associated with other feelings). they fight and try to have it, while women stand there watching them fight. and so there is this thought that when a woman following desperation or lack of control approach them 'even' in a more violating way the chance that they are more accepting (not absolutely accepting) of this approach exists.
