This girl and I been texting just little over a week, mostly everyday. I felt we hit it off, even after a stunt I did drunk, she kept relying in long paragraphs, sometimes smaller sentences. She would try to make me laugh when I wasn't in a good mood. I felt she liked me, she knows I like her, but now I am rethinking everything. Lastnight she said she was about to cry until I texted her and made her laugh, I asked her who I need to beat up to make her feel better then she said " haha ( another guys name)... no but yeah... Longstory." I replied saying " Lol ( guys name)? Then asked her whats wrong and does she need to talk. She replies with " A guy I was talking to before but oh well not anymore... doesn't matter..." Now I am not going to lie, this hurt me somewhat, I like this girl she is really cool and we have so muh in common. I didn't bring it up after that and we kept talking for a few hours, trying to cheer her up. I feel like this is a bad thing on my part, but maybe she didn't mean it she was in a terrible mood and could be a mix up. With what she said, is this bad for me and what does she mean by not anymore? does she mean like not today or never again?

She's clearly talking about the guy she laughingly wants you to beat up.
Where the fuck is she calling you by a different name?

i don't think she called you by the wrong name. she mentioned the guy who made her upset who sounds like a guy from her past. it sounds like you are reading a little too much, and incorrectly, into what she was saying

Like Mr Anonymous already pointed out, it doesn't seem like she called you by the wrong name at all but she was talking about this other guy? You were the one talking to her, but it seems that's the part you should worry about, she being all sad and upset because of this other guy she was talking to. More than a friend, maybe?
