She mentions him in conversations which is fine, I don't see anything wrong with that.
But accidentally calling me by his name...
I agree with the rest of the comments. You have nothing to worru about. I have brothers and sisters that I haven't seen in years but when I get mad a niece or nephew I accidentally scream there names. Sometimes when having conversations with people I call out a list of names before getting the right one. Seriously, it doesn't mean anything.
my boyfriend has called me the name of his female roommate/best girl-friend a time or two but it means nothing..he laughed and was like "...i just called you Shannon" but it meant nothing
I wouldn't worry about it much, I've called some of my friends by my other friends names accidentally. Now if she calls his name out while you two are in bed then that's a problem.
now this deserves best answer
It really depends on the situation.
For instance if she was really annoyed with you and said "shut up, 'John'"
It would be fine. But if she would be in a romantic mood and said:
"I love you, 'John'". That would be a bad sign.
Now everything in between is up for debate of course.
i think this could be a problem, since its a guys who hans up with your girl.
when you call someones name like that,u know whos unconsciously on your mind.
i would say examine situation, but you don't need to.if this situation got some pattern,u should ask some question definitely.
i agree with you about the subconsciousness.
I'm just trying to analyze if it's more of a romantic situation or if they hang out too much.
Like I said, I don't mind at all if they hang out. They hang out together more than her and I hang out.
I'm not going to start becoming controlling either.

That's pretty suspicious; it sounds like she is closer with him than you think, although it's certainly not proof of that fact. But he sure is on her mind a lot for her to make THAT mistake when she is awake and sober!
He is her only friend to be fair.
Well, it's not proof, as I said, but if I were you, I'd sure as heck be suspicious. And the fact he's her ONLY friend doesn't help soothe my suspicions in the slightest..just the opposite, in fact
It really doesn't mean anything. I mix up names of my uncle and dad all of the time. Hell, I've probably only said the name of my boyfriend like 3 times to his own face lol
A friend of mine mixes up the name of her husband and myself all the time. I don't think it means anything.
It seems that she was thinking so much in the moment. Don't try to over analyze it.
