I think my crush thinks I'm annoying? (guy opinions needed!!)

Hi! So my crush used to like me but over the summer we never talked or anything so I guess he kinda got over it. When we first got back to school, he flirted with me TONS but he switched out of one of the only classes I had with him and we stopped talking. I had his kik so and he told me to text him. I text him a few times a week and he always responds but never starts the conversation. He doesn't acknowledge me in the hallways but will sometimes look at me in class and he slightly nods (like the what's up kinda nod lol) he doesn't tease me anymore and I think he thinks I'm just annoying now. So what do I do? I don't want to not talk to him at all and just drop it, but I don't want to annoy the absolute crap out of him anymore. So what should I do?

in my opinion you may not be annoying for him because he still look at you [(like the what's up kinda nod) as you mentioned]. But you need to talk as soon as possible. Keep in mind not to be so harsh or aggressive tho.
