She stares at me somedays, then acts like I dont exist other days?

There is a really popular girl that has always been quiet around me. some days, she stares at me, but looks away quickly when i look back at her. she follows me just to pass me in the halls some days too. Her friends stare at me too. Its just that other days, like today, she acts like i don't exist at all. I see she has no problem talking to other guys, and doesn't seem so shy around her friends too. It is frustrating because i think she likes me, but then i dont think she actually does because she doesn't seem to notice me at all. But then randomly she will stare at me again and so on. What do i do?

I will do the same thing with this guy I like, I will stare at him a lot but then I will try to ignore him sometimes, because I don't know how he feels about me and I don't want to come across as creepy. If you like her, you should smile when she looks at you and try to start a conversation with her.

Well sometimes I can be outgoing, like if I'm talking to somebody one-on-one or in a small group. Other times I'm shy like at parties or in big groups. I can be either shy or outgoing around my crush too... it just depends on the day. So you think this girl is more shy around you than others?

Thats the thing, somedays she is really shy around me and doesn't say anything and sneaks glances at me and tries to get close to me, but other days she keeps her distance and is really loud and acts like i dont exist.

She could be waiting for you to make a move because she's not sure you like her back
