When you crush on someone you start to overreact a bit at everything. Am I overreacting with this?

I message with this girl a lot. I start it most of times and she actually keeps it going, it's not like she is short or expeditive. One day she says she is sleepy and soon going to bed. As i had someone over, it would have been disrespectful to text with someone over the phone. So i answered to my crush, but in about 1 hour. Then i also said wished her a good night.
She was clearly sleeping as the last time stamp was before my last texts to her.
Thing is i would have expected her to say something the next day when she woke up and saw the messages. Anything...

I don't usually respond to a goodnight text the next day and neither does my crush. You're just overreacting. Normally if I want him to say something the next day I'll just say goodnight with a question (I'm the one that always ends the conversation) so I'll just be like: hey by the way did you watch that episode? Did you like it? I really need to sleep talk to you tomorrow goodnight! It usually always works. Since he'll reply, I'll read it the next day and have a reason to respond.
