Oh, I'm not gonna lie... It is a turn on IF the guy also appeals physically.. I mean come on, I have two classmates and as much as I find it amazing how intelligent they are, I wouldn't date them.
Also what you described is knowledge. Intelligence means more, and implies many more aspects. There are many types of intelligence. You can see it in the way a person talks, thinks, processes thoughts and so on.

When a guy's clever, and he knows something, it's definitely hot. If it's about the subject he's studying then maybe nit so much (I'm doing A Levels) but if it's general knowledge... Definitely! I once really wanted to jump a guy when he was talking about the Jerusalem crusade...

Intelligence is about how your brain processes information, how you solve problems, ability to understand shit, etc.

Intelligence can be more than academic, anyway.. I disagree being knowledgeable can't make someone intelligent. The fact that he can recall bunch of facts shows his/her good memory and is active on learning.. Moreover more impressive if the person understands it and expands it.
