Why do these guys keep picking on me?

These guys have been picking on me for about a year now.They try to hide my books and steal my stuff.They are always insulting me and trying to emotionally hurt me, they do it almost everyday.There's four of them. They are really perverted, and just plain mean.One of them used to text me nonstop, and I had unlimited at the time, after a month or two he stopped when I got really p*ssed.They all gang up on me and they are disgusting, and for some reason they're popular among everyone else.Why would they keep doing this if I ignore them?How do I get them to leave me alone?

They've sexually harassed me a couple times, but its mostly bullying and insults.

These guys are clearly assholes. I don't think any of them truly care about you, if they did they wouldn't treat you like this. They may be attracted to your body, but definitely nothing more. They're being disrespectful and perverted. This is also verbal and emotional abuse.

Here's what you do:

1. Avoid them as much as possible. If you see them in school, walk the other way. Take a new way where you know they won't be around.

2. When you HAVE to be around them surround yourself with people.

3. Have someone you know and trust tell them that you will press charges if they continue this behaviour. Make sure they know it's sexual harassment.

4. If you ever see them alone, tell them you will press charges and leave immediately.

5. If they still don't stop, I would recommend telling someone at your school that has authority (a guidance counsellor, a Vice-Principal, a security guard).

6. If it goes on, tell the cops.

Just remember, that if you don't act at all this may get worse. Soon they may actually sexually assault you. Don't be afraid, show them they can't treat you like this. You are obvioualy not being very firm with them, since they're still doing this.

Take legal action and go to the school. Don't sit back and keep taking it anymore. You have to take action. These guys are probably not going to stop and if you just keep ignoring it it will probably get worse. They have no right to do that. Real men or at least guys with any type of decency will not do this to a girl. They are cowards. Maybe they are attracted to you and are lashing out against you because you don't fall all over him like other girls do. Some popular guys think they are gods and will turn on a girl if she doesn't give him what he wants because he feels that he is entitled to it. Also they have a mob mentality. If it was just 1 guy he prob wouldn't go that far, but when they get in a group they think they're bad so they take it to the extreme. Please take legal action as well as go to the school officials. If the school doesn't do anything then scare them by going higher and higher up the chain of command. Good luck.

Quite frankly you can report them to the police and possibly take legal action. They have repeatedly texted you when you told them to stop ( harassment and possible stalking) and have sexually harassed you. If their are witnesses, get their word, save their text messages, save anything they send you and go to the cops. The won't laugh so hard when they have the cops at their door.

Or you can fight. I don't normally advocate fighting, but sometimes throwing a punch or two will shut them up.

They do it because they are weak and because they don't like themselves. They are insecure and don't know how to handle it.

They do it because when they first tried it, you reacted. The bigger reaction and the more that it bothers someone the more fun bullying is to them.

It's kind of too late to stop it unless something big changes or you do something crazy. If they have sexually harassed you press charged. They will look like assholes, a lot of people (girls) will turn on them, their parents will look down on them... they won't want to risk messing with you again. This is assuming you're in high school. In college it could still work, but things are so much looser.

Go to an authority at the school and continually report each action they take against you, and possibly even request to have different classes than them and whatever else too keep distance between you and them. They are being bullies and jerks, I'm sorry for you and hope things get better for you soon. Try to keep your chin up and best of luck to you.

I agree with jimmajam. They feed on your reactions. I would guess that maybe one of them likes you, and his friends are playing along and teasing you just for the fun of it. Get someone in authority to help you. And with the sexual harrassment, threaten to call the cops, and if they keep doing it, then really call. That should take care of it. Good luck!

Why would they keep doing this if I ignore them? If you ignore them by not speaking but still give them reactions it may be because its funny. Also, if you are giving no reactions then it is probably because they want to see you crack and start crying, because that can be funny sometimes

Sexual harassment is sexual harassment! Press charges, don't let this continue! You need to get some legal action or something or it will NEVER stop. That or just change schools.
