Why were these guys doing this to me?

I’m about to transfer colleges. Today when I was driving on the campus to go to the admissions office I saw these three guys crossing the street. As I was pulling up I saw one of them look at me as they were crossing and I turned my head to avoid eye contact then turned it back to him. He started smiling as I got closer then said something to his friend and his friend was looking down and smiling too. It was weird they eventually all started smiling and kept looking at me. One didn’t look and kept looking down but they were all talking to each other. Lol I know I’m a pretty girl because I do get compliments every now and then. I’m not a complete knockout but I know I’m a cute girl. When I pulled over to park I saw that there was bird poop on the left side of my car. I was so humiliated lol. It wasn’t a lot of it just a little so I then thought maybe that’s what the guys were smiling and talking about. These are college guys so it could’ve been anything. What was their deal?
