I've stood watch whilst my girl has used the gents when there was a queue for the ladies and the gents were empty. To be honest I can't understand why architects designing buildings, especially venues can't be designed with larger ladies facilities and smaller gents to make the capacity the same. The way it is now us stupid, isn't good for anyone, the girl in the queue or the guy stood around waiting for her.

But using the urinals? Not sure how that would work unless she carried one of these round in her bag: https://www.go-girl.com/

I've been to bathrooms in other countries where it was both sexes use one bathroom. And I have been to places like the Wild Animal Park near San Diego, where the line at the women's facility sends them to the men's. Nobody bats an eye. Too bad we couldn't all be like that. No more problems with long lines at one while another is sparse.

I've used the men's room when the line for the women's was too long, but I never used the urinal. That would be awkward. I find that guys don't really care if they see me there, but I'm sure they'd find it weird if I used a urinal.

My brother used to do make up at a community college. He noted that girls walked in and out of the men's dressing room all the time with reckless abandon, regardless of what state of dress the men were in. The men didn't seem to care. My brother asked the women how they would react if a man walked into the woman's dressing room. He was assured that any man would be chased out with pitchforks and torches.
